Forestry Mulching and Land Clearing in Bay, AR
Jonesboro Mulching clears fencerows, ditch banks, field edges, and turn rows in Bay, Arkansas. We also mulch grown up acreage, open building sites, and grind stumps. We are licensed and insured in Arkansas and we work Craighead County and the delta counties east and south of it.
Bay has farmed the flat between Jonesboro and Trumann for a long time. This is St. Francis Lowlands ground, part of the alluvial plain, and there is no hill on it. The clearing work here follows the lines rather than the acres. A brushy fencerow costs a farmer a pass with the sprayer. A ditch bank grown shut backs water into the field it was cut to drain.
Privet is the worst of it. It forms a wall along a fencerow and along the ditch lines, and it comes back off the roots if you only cut the tops. Willow and locust follow the same wet lines. We take the whole standing mass down to grade in one pass and leave the chips where they fall, so nothing gets stacked at the end of a field waiting on a burn permit.
Wet ground is the real limit on this side of the county. A saturated field takes track damage that stays through the season. We run an ASV Posi-Track carrier for the low ground pressure it puts down, and we still push a job when the water is standing. We will not promise you a date over soft ground.
Winter is the better window here. Leaves are off, the wood is dry and brittle, and firm ground carries the machine.
